Youth In Government
Youth In Government
Every year the Lima Noon Optimist Club holds a “Youth in Government Day.” This is where youth of the Lima/Allen County high schools shadow a government official for the morning. Eleven of our high schools participate in this program with approximately 40 youth taking part. The youth are chosen to participate by their government teacher or counselor. The student and the government official then join the Optimists for lunch and the Respect for Law Program that is held during the first week of May.
